Q. So Jake where you at right now?
A. Melbourne Australia, stoked to be here taking a little time off before the season starts.. just setting up an apartment with my girl and kicking back for a bit.

Q. Where did you spend most of N.Hemi winter?
A. Pemberton B.C, sitting in a hotel for 3 months with Robbie Walker watching HGTV, sometimes we would get to snowboard.

Q. What projects were you involved in filming or otherwise?
A. This season i was working with People Films, I was really stoked to have that opportunity and get to crew up with a good mate for the season.

Q. We’ve seen some shots of a few classic BC backcountry jumps, any stand out sessions or spots?
A. Yeah a couple stand out sessions for sure, it’s a bit of a blur though, 3 months in Pemberton feels like 3 years.

Q. Any stand out parties?
A. I didn’t party at all we just drunk a lot of Crown Royale in our hotel room on down days, drowning the pain of continuous crap weather..

Q. When will you be back in NZ?
A. Im not rushing, probably mid July.

Q. What are your plans for the southern Hemi winter?
A. Nothing really in concrete yet but I’ll figure it out over the next month but I imagine a lot of the same, a few contests and trips in New Zealand and Australia and more than likely a performance camp and filming with Red Bull and friends. Hopefully a trip or something with the Diaries Downunder boys in there too.
