The Burton High fives went down last week and it was one of the sickest comps ever despite some rough condition the riders killed it with our own slope super star Christy Prior taking 3rd in the Slopestyle. The slopestyle was a little marred by weather but was still an incredible event and the top 3 results were as follows.

The pipe was equally amazing and apart from a couple of runs most of the riders had clear weather and a perfect pipe.14 year old Chloe Kim proved that she is one of the most incredible humans in the universe tearing the pipe to pieces. A solid line up in the mens saw all manner of doubles and double over head tricks getting thrown down with among others Australia’s 3rd place getter Nathan Johnstone wowing the crowd with impeccable style and a full bag of technical madness.

In the womens, Chloe Kim (USA) set the bar high for the women, sending a massive backside air into a frontside 540, McTwist, and a corked frontside 720 before finishing with an impressive corked cab 720, which earned a 92.60. China’s Xuetong Cai landed her last run with an 86.40 to put her in second place, and fellow Burton rider Hikaru Ooe (JPN) took third place with an 85.40.
“I’m really happy about how everything turned out,” said 14-year-old Chloe Kim, who finished second at the 2013 Burton High Fives. “When we came up here this morning the weather was windy and snowy, but turned out to be really good.”
